The Role

As Procurement Manager, you will lead the development and execution of strategic procurement and supply chain initiatives across Dyno Nobel's direct spend categories. Working within a complex manufacturing and mining environment, you'll play a key role in ensuring security of supply, managing commercial risk and delivering sustainable value across the business.

This is a highly collaborative role where you'll partner with manufacturing, technology, supply chain and operational teams to develop procurement strategies that strengthen supplier relationships, improve business continuity and support long-term growth. You'll also act as a trusted advisor on market conditions, supply risks and commercial opportunities while contributing to major business projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and executing procurement and category management strategies across direct spend categories
• Leading strategic sourcing activities, supplier negotiations and contract management activities
• Building supply chain resilience through risk management, contingency planning and supplier diversification
• Managing strategic supplier relationships and driving value creation opportunities
• Delivering cost reduction, cost avoidance and continuous improvement initiatives
• Coaching and supporting Procurement Specialists while influencing outcomes across a broad stakeholder network

What You'll Bring

• A commitment to positively contributing to our safe, inclusive and high-performance culture
• Tertiary qualifications in business, procurement, supply chain or a related discipline (CIPS accreditation desirable)
• Experience in direct materials procurement and supply chain management within a large, complex organisation
• Strong contract negotiation, drafting and supplier management experience
• Advanced stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with the ability to build relationships across operational and leadership teams
