SunRice is a great place to work, providing a real opportunity for passionate people to make a difference.

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Procurement Operations, Systems & Analytics Manager to play a critical role in transforming a developing, global procurement function into a best‑in‑class operation.

This is a high‑impact role where you will help uplift procurement maturity by embedding robust processes, improving efficiencies, leveraging data and automation, and enabling the category management team to deliver maximum value through tendering and supplier strategies.

Reporting to the Group Procurement Director, you will lead procurement analytics, systems and operational enablement across a large, complex spend portfolio. This role is pivotal in moving procurement forward on their transformation journey - supporting stronger decision‑making, governance, sustainability outcomes, and financial performance across the business.

If you enjoy building, improving and modernising procurement functions - and know what “good” looks like in a mature environment - this role offers genuine scope to make a lasting impact.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Driving the transformation and standardisation of procurement processes, tools and governance across global operations
  • Improving procurement efficiency and effectiveness through automation, better data quality and smarter use of systems
  • Developing and maintaining spend analytics, dashboards and reporting to support executive, board and finance requirements
  • Providing hands‑on operational support to category managers, including tender analysis, total cost modelling and sourcing insights to achieve best value outcomes
  • Enabling the category teams with clear data, tools and insights to improve sourcing decisions across contracts
  • Leading improvements across the source‑to‑pay lifecycle, including spend analytics, contract management and supplier performance reporting
  • Supporting the implementation and optimisation of procurement technologies and digital tools
  • Delivering procurement pipeline, savings, ROI and KPI reporting across the global function
  • Partnering with sustainability and ESG teams to support sustainable procurement reporting, including modern slavery and ESG requirements

About You

You are a commercially minded procurement professional who thrives in environments where there is opportunity to build, uplift and transform.

You bring experience from a more mature procurement function and can pragmatically apply best practice to a setting that is still evolving. You are confident working with data, comfortable influencing senior stakeholders, and motivated by the challenge of improving how things are done.

You will bring:

  • 5–7+ years’ experience in procurement operations, analytics or enablement, ideally within a mature procurement function
  • Strong understanding of end‑to‑end procurement and tendering, with the ability to support category teams to deliver best‑value outcomes
  • Proven experience improving procurement processes, efficiencies and governance, including the use of data, automation and digital tools
  • Advanced analytical capability, with confidence creating dashboards, insights and executive‑ready reporting
  • Experience working with ERP, BI and e‑procurement platforms
  • Ability to clearly present insights and influence stakeholders across a global business
  • Exposure to sustainable procurement, ESG or supply chain sustainability reporting (beneficial)
  • A hands‑on, collaborative mindset and a genuine passion for transforming and uplifting procurement capability
