Funciones del Puesto (Job Functions) – General:

• Coordina las actividades cotidianas de un equipo de trabajadores de producción para garantizar que las operaciones de fabricación se realicen de acuerdo con las especificaciones y los cronogramas de producción establecidos, los objetivos de volumen, costo y desperdicio o los estándares de calidad*.* (Coordinates the day-to-day activities of a team of production workers to ensure that manufacturing operations run according to established production specifications and schedules, volume, cost and wastage targets or quality standards.)
• Controla el volumen y la calidad del producto terminado y ajusta las tareas, el tiempo, la configuración del equipo o las entradas para que las especificaciones de producción se cumplan y los recursos se utilicen de manera eficiente. (Monitors the volume and quality of output and adjust tasks, timing, equipment set-up or inputs so that production specifications are met, and resources are used efficiently.)
• Supervisa al personal para garantizar que todas las tareas de producción se realicen y que todas las máquinas y equipos función en de manera segura. (Supervises staff to ensure that all production tasks are performed, and all machines and equipment operated safely.)
• Orienta a nuevos trabajadores en los procedimientos y estándares operativos de la organización. (Trains new workers in the organization’s operating procedures and standards)
• Responsable de la seguridad y formación del departamento. (Responsible for department safety and training)
