Job Summary:
As part of the Laboratoires Filorga R&D team and the new Implementation & Support (I&S) organization, the Project Manager is responsible for developing new products and managing the portfolio under his/her responsibility.
Tasks:
- Analysis of marketing brief and product concept, consultation with asset suppliers, technology recommendations in consultation with the US team.
- Activation of formulation brief, in liaison with subcontractors and internal contacts
- Follow-up of new formula submissions with product managers
- Follow-up of development back-planning to ensure smooth project progress with subcontractors and in house, in tandem with pack engineers.
- Monitoring technical execution of projects, alerting to formula or timing risks, forecasting back-ups and alternative solutions.
- Knowledge and maintenance of the portfolio in charge: reformulation for regulatory compliance or eco responsible approaches, resolution of quality issues, continuous improvement, cost optimization Expense management vs. project budget.
- Management of project documentation, compilation of DIP, raw materials and formulas database (PDM/SAP), development of technical file and updating of product portfolio.
- Involvement in the implementation and application of processes and working methods linked to the Implementation & Support organization
- Monitor competition and supplier innovations
- Management of different projects in parallel
- Relations and collaboration with all internal departments: product development, clinical, marketing, regulatory, quality, supply, purchasing and scientific communication, or external: suppliers and subcontractors.
Skills :
- Higher scientific education (engineer, pharmacist...)
- 3-5 years experience in formulation or cosmetics development
- Curiosity, ability to synthesize, rigor, autonomy, organizational skills, agility, responsiveness Ability to work as part of a team and interact with several people; good interpersonal skills Proficiency in IT tools (Google Suite, MS Office) and initial experience with SAP is a plus
Fluent French mandatory, professional English
