THE OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for a Project Officer to support the delivery of our eye health programs in North Sumatra and nearby areas. The role works closely with local health offices, hospitals, community partners, and internal teams to coordinate activities, support reporting, and help keep programs running smoothly while contributing to stronger and more sustainable eye health services in the communities we work with.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate and support the day-to-day implementation of eye health projects across North Sumatra and nearby areas, ensuring activities are delivered in line with workplans, timelines, budgets, and partnership commitments.
- Work closely with provincial and district health offices, hospitals, community partners, and other stakeholders to maintain strong collaboration, support program delivery, and strengthen local health systems.
- Support project monitoring, data collection, reporting, and documentation activities, including maintaining accurate records and helping track progress, results, and learnings across the program.
- Assist with training coordination, meetings, workshops, and field visits, while providing practical support to partners to help strengthen implementation, communication, and coordination.
- Work collaboratively with internal program, finance, and operations teams on planning, procurement, logistics, and reporting, while ensuring safeguarding, compliance, and organisational policies are consistently followed.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
- Experience supporting public health, NGO, or community development programs
- Strong coordination, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work collaboratively across teams
- Experience in reporting, monitoring, and project administration
- Fluent Bahasa Indonesia skills; working English preferred
Experience in international development, health systems strengthening, or community-based health programs will be highly regarded.
