Project Scheduler & Scheduler at SPX FLOW, an ITT Company

Location: EMEA

SPX FLOW is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Project Scheduler to support our global project execution teams in the Food & Beverage industry.

This role works closely with Project Managers to develop, monitor, and control integrated project schedules, ensuring accurate planning, timely execution, and successful delivery of complex engineering projects.

About the Role

As a Project Scheduler, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining project schedules that reflect scope, sequencing, and interdependencies across Engineering, Procurement, Installation, and Commissioning phases.

You will play a key role in identifying risks, monitoring critical paths, and ensuring that project timelines are realistic, achievable, and aligned with SPX FLOW standards.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Schedule Development

• Develop and maintain integrated project schedules in alignment with SPX FLOW WBS standards
• Assist in establishing baseline schedules
• Incorporate scope changes into master project schedules
• Define milestones, deliverables, and sequencing logic

Critical Path & Schedule Analysis

• Apply Critical Path Method (CPM) to identify key project dependencies
• Monitor and analyze critical paths for high-risk projects
• Review and validate activity durations across engineering, procurement, and construction phases
• Identify scheduling risks and communicate impacts to project stakeholders

Schedule Monitoring & Reporting

• Update project schedules on a regular basis (weekly/monthly)
• Ensure accuracy and consistency in project progress tracking
• Develop and maintain standardized scheduling reports
• Support project managers with schedule insights and forecasts

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Collaborate with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning, and Sales teams
• Extract key planning data from project stakeholders and proposals
• Participate in project meetings and provide scheduling expertise
• Communicate schedule risks, delays, and critical issues effectively

What We’re Looking For

✔ Up to 5 years of experience in project planning/scheduling (preferably Food & Beverage or EPC environment)
✔ Strong understanding of Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning processes
✔ Experience working with PFDs, P&IDs, and engineering project documentation
✔ Strong knowledge of Critical Path Method (CPM)
✔ Ability to analyze project risks and schedule impacts
✔ Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
✔ Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
✔ Fluent English (French is an advantage)

Technical Skills

• Advanced MS Project experience (mandatory)
• Primavera experience is an advantage

Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related technical field

Or equivalent relevant industry experience
