Job Summary

We are looking for a Python Backend Automation Engineer with strong experience in backend development and automation frameworks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing automation solutions, building backend services, and implementing CI/CD pipelines to improve development and deployment efficiency. The role requires strong expertise in Python, automation frameworks, and DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend automation frameworks and tools using Python.
• Design and implement automation scripts for backend services, APIs, and system workflows.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, testing, and deployment processes.
• Develop and integrate REST APIs and backend services.
• Work closely with development, QA, and DevOps teams to streamline automation processes.
• Implement test automation for backend services and microservices.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize automation pipelines and system performance.
• Ensure code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and best development practices.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes.

Required Skills

• Strong programming experience in Python.
• Experience developing automation frameworks and scripts.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar.
• Experience working with REST APIs and backend services.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Knowledge of software testing concepts and automation strategies.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have

• Experience with Docker and containerization.
• Exposure to Kubernetes or container orchestration.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of test frameworks such as PyTest or Robot Framework.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture.
• Experience with database technologies such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.

Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
