Python Backend Developer

YOUR ROLE

As a Python Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining scalable backend applications in a cloud-native environment. You will work closely with development, DevOps, and data engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions while following Agile/Scrum best practices.

YOUR PROFILE

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
5+ years of experience in Python backend development
Solid hands-on experience with Fast API or Flask API and REST API development
Experience working with Redis caching mechanisms
Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for containerized application development and orchestration
Experience with CI/CD pipeline implementation and deployment management
Familiarity with cloud (Azure, AWS) and container service
Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL database management and optimization
Proficiency with Git and version control systems
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Hybrid-Model: 2 times a week in the Capgemini Offices
English is mandatory

Nice to Have

Experience working with Databricks and Apache Spark
Experience with microservices architecture
Understanding of cloud-native application design and deployment
Experience with application performance tuning and monitoring tools
Exposure to data engineering and large-scale distributed systems
Knowledge of security best practices for cloud-based applications
