Apply NowJob Description We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Manual QA Manager with over 15 years of expertise in quality assurance to lead our QA efforts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and mentoring QA teams, creating and executing comprehensive test strategies, ensuring adherence to QA best practices, and driving continuous improvement in software quality. This is a leadership role that requires strong technical acumen, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to managing quality assurance across all stages of the SDLC. Key Responsibilities: • Leadership & Management: • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of manual QA engineers to ensure effective performance and professional growth. • Establish clear roles, responsibilities, and expectations for the QA team. • Foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and accountability.
• Quality Assurance Strategy: • Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies, plans, and test cases to ensure software quality across all projects. • Define and monitor QA metrics (e.g., defect densities, open defect counts) to evaluate product quality. • Establish and maintain QA best practices and processes.
• Test Execution: • Oversee and actively participate in functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT). • Ensure the timely identification, documentation, and resolution of software defects. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., developers, product managers) to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
• Process Improvement: • Identify areas for improvement in the QA process and implement changes to enhance efficiency and accuracy. • Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in quality assurance and recommend tools and practices for adoption.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: • Work closely with development and product management teams to align QA efforts with business goals. • Provide clear and concise communication to stakeholders regarding testing progress, issues, and quality metrics.
• Compliance and Standards: • Ensure software testing processes comply with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements. • Maintain proper documentation for all QA processes and results.
