We are looking for a QC Biologics Specialist who is organized, collaborative, and quality-driven to join our QC Biologics Laboratory team, based at our UCB campus located in Braine-l’Alleud, Belgium.

About the role

You will support the implementation and lifecycle management of biologics-based products, from Phase III through product launch and ongoing lifecycle activities. You will bring your scientific expertise to help the Quality Control (QC) Biologics Laboratory deliver reliable GMP testing, strong documentation, and smooth coordination with key stakeholders. You will also support deviations, investigations, change controls, method updates, and authority documentation.

Who you will work with

You will work within the QC Biologics Laboratory and report to the Head of Laboratory. You will collaborate closely with team leaders, technicians, Quality Assurance, production, MSAT, analytical product owners, and other stakeholders. You will help align priorities, support planning, and ensure clear communication between the laboratory and its internal partners.

What you will do

• You will support GMP sample tracking from reception to destruction through laboratory systems.
 • You will coordinate priorities and urgencies with team leaders and key stakeholders.
 • You will manage deviations, investigations, CAPAs, and change control follow-up.
 • You will support method implementation, documentation updates, and operator training.
 • You will contribute to product launches and prepare documentation requested by authorities.
 • You will facilitate meetings with production, MSAT, QA, and laboratory teams.

Interested?

For this role, we are looking for the following education, experience, and skills:

• You hold a Bachelor or Master’s degree in analytical chemistry, biochemistry, biology, or equivalent scientific field.
 • You have at least five years’ experience in pharmaceutical analysis, preferably biologics or monoclonal antibodies.
 • You have proven experience working in a GMP Quality Control laboratory environment.
 • You bring strong documentation, deviation, investigation, and change control experience.
 • You communicate fluently in English and French with teams, managers, and stakeholders.
 • You are organized, accountable, solution-oriented, and comfortable influencing in a matrix environment.
