Work Your Magic with us!
Ready to explore, break barriers, and discover more? We know you’ve got big plans – so do we! Our colleagues across the globe love innovating with science and technology to enrich people’s lives with our solutions in Healthcare, Life Science, and Electronics. Together, we dream big and are passionate about caring for our rich mix of people, customers, patients, and planet. That's why we are always looking for curious minds that see themselves imagining the unimaginable with us.
Your role:
Join a technology-driven journey with global impact by contributing to the development of solutions that enable scientists worldwide to work better, faster, and more sustainably. As part of our continued growth, we are strengthening our R&D center in Guyancourt and are recruiting an R&D Project Manager (f/m) to design the next generation of Milli‑Q® systems—the global benchmark in laboratory water purification, used in thousands of research centers, hospitals, and industrial sites around the world.
Reporting to the R&D Director, you will lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers and technicians to drive projects from feasibility through to market launch. You coordinate across multiple disciplines (chemistry, mechanics, hydraulics, electronics, and embedded software) and work closely with both internal and external partners, including Marketing, Industrialization, Project Purchasing, and the PMO.
During the feasibility phase, you define the most relevant technical architectures and technologies, assess risks, and provide clear, well-documented trade-off recommendations. During development, you plan and execute R&D activities with strong rigor on performance, integrity, and reliability, while anticipating technical and scheduling risks. You represent R&D with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a shared vision and execution aligned with project objectives. In the product lifecycle phase, you support market follow-up and contribute to continuous improvement and product updates.
You will operate in an international environment, with real autonomy in technical decision-making and influence on strategic—not only operational—decisions. Your achievements will have a measurable impact, as Milli‑Q® products are used in laboratories worldwide to support research and healthcare. The Guyancourt site offers a modern R&D environment, a dynamic ecosystem, and opportunities to grow into broader responsibilities and technical leadership roles.
Who you are:
- Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering (generalist, mechanical, or mechatronics)
- At least 5 years of experience leading product development projects through to market launch
- Strong background in multidisciplinary design and solid command of structured development processes (Stage-Gate, DFM, FMEA) and international regulatory requirements (CE, UL, ISO, RoHS)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; French is a plus
- Ability to lead and influence without direct hierarchical authority and to work effectively in a multi-project environment
- Strong autonomy and organizational skills, with a results-driven mindset and the ability to solve complex problems
- Experience in sectors such as life sciences, medical devices, automotive, aerospace, telecommunications, or high-end consumer products
- Strong interest in innovation and collaboration within an international network of experts and academic partners
- Passionate technical leader, able to analyze complex engineering challenges and facilitate project governance meetings
