Reservations Coordinator - Atlanta
Salary: $63,000 - $72,000 / year

Job Summary
The Reservation Coordinator manages conference center space to support successful meetings and events. This role focuses on assigning, optimizing, and evaluating space to maximize efficiency, improve operational flow, and enhance the meeting experience. It requires strong judgment, pattern recognition, and the ability to balance client needs with organizational priorities while ensuring meetings are set up for success from scheduling through execution.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage and assign meeting space to optimize utilization, not just availability
• Evaluate requests based on purpose, frequency, priority, and operational impact
• Reassign space proactively to improve flow, reduce conflicts, and support high-priority meetings
• Consolidate space during low-volume periods to increase efficiency
• Review upcoming bookings to identify risks, gaps, and optimization opportunities
• Ensure reservation details are accurate and aligned with event requirements
• Anticipate impacts on AV, catering, and operational teams
• Serve as a primary contact for reservation-related communication
• Manage and enter routine, low-complexity meeting requests
• Own intake and processing of recurring and straightforward meetings
• Deliver a responsive, solutions-oriented client experience
• Partner with coordinators and operational teams to align planning and execution
• Communicate updates, changes, and requirements clearly and timely
• Maintain reservation data accuracy within the event management system
• Identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement
• Support development of tools, templates, and processes
• Assist team operations during high-demand periods to ensure seamless execution
Preferred Qualifications
• 2+ years in hospitality, event operations, or client-facing roles
• Experience with reservation or event management systems preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a high-volume environment
• Strong attention to detail and sound judgment
