This role partners cross-functionally with Merchandising, Allocation, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams to align demand plans, inventory strategies, and Open-to-Buy (OTB) execution to support seasonal and in-season business needs. The Retail Demand Planner plays a critical role in driving inventory health, in-stock performance, and data-driven decision making across the retail channel.

What You'll Do

  • Coordinate New Product Introductions, Key Product initiatives, and Core/Carryover items in partnership with Merchandising and Leadership.
  • Partner closely with Allocation to support optimal in-stock levels, manage weeks-of-supply (WOS), and maintain healthy inventory guardrails.
  • Participate in weekly and monthly business reviews by preparing analysis, insights, and recommendations to support decision making.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment on seasonal handoffs, monthly execution, and Open-to-Buy (OTB) planning and reviews.
  • Develop and propose demand and inventory scenarios based on inventory utilization, promotional activity, and business trends.
  • Collaborate with Global MFP and Demand Planning teams to translate global seasonal plans into region- and channel-specific execution plans.
  • Partner with Wholesale, Digital, and International Planning teams to align inventory strategies and support enterprise-wide in-stock goals.

What You'll Bring to the Table

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, supply chain, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in demand planning and/or Open-to-Buy (OTB) planning, preferably within retail, apparel or footwear.
  • Experience with Merchant Financial Planning (MFP) and/or Integrated Business Planning processes.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management, service level planning, and in-season execution.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, including analytical modeling and reporting tools.
  • Experience working with demand planning and MFP systems and tools.
  • Proven ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, highly cross-functional, and matrixed environment.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills with a track record of influencing business outcomes
