Job Overview

Supports the development and execution of commodity strategy for the procurement team and drives the leading indicators like savings pipeline.

Job Requirements

Establishing the supplier sourcing strategy, identifying and managing the customer needs, and deciding the strategic suppliers accordingly to maintain the product footprint.
Monitoring the negotiation of raw materials, preparing the RFQs in alignment with the supplier strategy, and assisting with make or buy analysis.
Driving the teams for savings and spending reduction initiatives, improving material productivity, and ensuring compliance with the regulatory standards of the suppliers.
Leading the optimization of supplier footprints, monitoring the supplier consolidation activities, and setting up the new suppliers in alignment with the strategy.

What your background should look like

Generally requires Bachelors degree in appropriate field with a minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible professional level experience; Masters degree or higher or local equivalent may be preferred at this level
