Job Overview

Supervises the activities of employees engaged in the tooling activities and liaises with other supervisors and managers to coordinate operations and activities within or between departments.

Job Requirements

• Enforcing safety regulations, demonstrating equipment operations, work, and safety procedures to new employees, and verifying that the processes are completed on time and accurately.
• Monitoring and reporting on plating department KPIs, driving actions to close gaps, and supporting continuous improvement programs and initiatives.
• Setting expectations, defining employee goals and objectives, and conducting performance reviews.
• Training new hires, managing scheduling and work conflicts, monitoring safety, and promoting internal communication to create a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

What your background should look like

Responsabilidades principales:

• Mantenimiento y reparación de moldes de inyección plástico, inyección de aluminio, troqueles de corte y troqueles de formado
• Montaje y desmontaje de moldes.
• Seguimiento a rutinas de mantenimiento preventivo en moldes y troqueles (die cast)
• Consultar, revisar y aprobar dibujos 3D de troqueles, moldes y refacciones.
• Administrar técnicos de Tool Room y Mold Makers
• Coordinar actividades de mejora en tooling, moldes y troqueles
• Gestión y administración de spare parts
• Fabricación de piezas mecánicas, fixturas y reparación de partes
• Dar soporte a Ingeniería de Manufactura en la fabricación de fixturas
• Contacto con proveedores para reparaciones mayores.
• Cumplimiento de medidas de Salud y Seguridad
• Participación en la implementación de sistemas de gestión y certificaciones

Requisitos técnicos / conocimientos:

• Conocimiento en moldeo por inyección de plásticos
• Conocimiento en moldeo por inyección de EPDM
• Conocimiento en moldeo por inyección de silicones LSR
• Programación y ajuste de máquinas JING DAY y DESMA
• Conocimiento en neumática, hidráulica y electricidad
• Conocimiento en moldeo científico

Escolaridad y experiencia:

• Ingeniería Mecatrónica o Mecánica Industrial
• +5 años de experiencia en un puesto similar
• Inglés 90%
