About the role
As a Scheduler Applied Technology, you are responsible for planning, coordinating, and optimizing laboratory activities within our Applied Technology department. You ensure that priorities, capacity, materials, and timelines are aligned, enabling projects to be delivered on time and laboratory operations to run efficiently.

 

Your responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain short- and mid-term laboratory schedules.
  • Align capacity, resources, and demand across multiple stakeholders.
  • Prioritize projects and samples based on business needs and deadlines.
  • Coordinate planning activities between laboratory, breeding, and support teams.
  • Manage inventory levels and support procurement activities.
  • Identify, communicate, and resolve planning bottlenecks and risks.
  • Drive continuous improvement of planning processes and workflows.

 

What you bring

  • Bachelor’s degree (HBO) or equivalent, preferably in Supply Chain, Logistics, Life Sciences, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in planning, scheduling, supply chain, operations, or a similar coordinating role.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to build effective working relationships.
  • Excellent planning, prioritization, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining oversight of multiple activities and timelines.
  • Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to respond effectively to changing priorities.
  • Fluent in both Dutch and English, written and spoken.
