Role Overview:veritree is seeking a Summer Intern to support the development of nature technology research and data methodologies. This role is ideal for an early-career professional with a strong interest in impact measurement in nature restoration. The role will contribute to research, copyediting, data analysis, and science operations while gaining experience at the intersection of technology and restoration science.

What You’ll Do:Research & Methodology Support • Assist in the design and documentation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and research protocols across different ecosystems, including mangroves, agroforestry, wildfire restoration, urban forestry and kelp.

• Contribute to literature reviews, methodology benchmarking, and updates on relevant nature tech innovations. • Keep up to date with the latest research, initiatives, and market developments.

Science Administration & Operations • Track and organize research tasks, timelines, and partner communications as needed.

• Perform data cleaning and quality assurance checks on incoming datasets, ensuring consistency with metadata and standards.

• Provide background research and copy editing support for marketing materials.
