Mō te tūnga | About the role
The NIA Product Team is seeking a Scrum Master to support a significant evolution in the team’s ways of working. Key Accountabilities:
- Lead and support the transition from a single large squad to four focused delivery squads, enabling effective Agile ways of working
- Facilitate and coach teams through multiple Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, retrospectives, and showcases
- Provide Agile coaching and guidance to squads to build capability, autonomy, and continuous improvement
- Partner closely with the Technical Product Owner to support day‑to‑day delivery and squad alignment
- Identify, remove, and escalate blockers and impediments, ensuring smooth and predictable delivery
- Support discovery and refinement activities, aligning delivery with the Product Model and strategic outcomes
