Senior / Mid Software Engineer (.NET / Delphi) I Teltonika Security

We are looking for a Senior or Mid Software Engineer to join our R&D team and take ownership of existing device programming tools used in automotive environments. A key aspect of this role is experience with device communication or firmware programming tools, as the software directly interacts with hardware devices for firmware flashing, updating, and configuration. The main goal of this position is to take over and modernize existing device programming tools (“loaders”) originally developed in Delphi 7, migrating them to the C# / .NET platform. These applications are used to program, update, and configure automotive device firmware while ensuring reliable communication with devices through various interfaces. The objective is to build a clear, maintainable, and scalable architecture suitable for long-term development. Responsibilities: • Take ownership of existing device programming tools used to configure and update hardware devices. • Lead the migration of legacy Delphi-based tools to a modern C# / .NET architecture. • Design and maintain software responsible for device communication, firmware programming, and configuration workflows. • Implement and maintain communication layers for hardware devices using interfaces such as Serial (COM) and USB. • Analyze and refactor existing codebases to create clear, maintainable, and scalable architecture. • Investigate and resolve complex issues related to device communication, firmware updates, and hardware interaction. • Work closely with firmware, hardware, and R&D engineers to ensure reliable device programming and diagnostics.
