Summary: Senior Accountant
We are seeking a highly motivated and hands‑on Accounting Lead to support newly established legal entities in Vietnam and India. This role will play a key part in building foundational accounting processes, ensuring compliant and accurate financial reporting, and supporting business growth in both countries. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of accounting, preparing monthly financial reports, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
The ideal candidate is agile, solutions‑oriented, and willing to both design and directly execute accounting operations from the ground up. While similar global entities exist, this individual will be responsible for adapting and implementing processes specific to Vietnam and India, working closely with regional and headquarters finance teams.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Support the setup and ongoing accounting operations for newly established legal entities in Vietnam and India.
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes in alignment with the close calendar and company policies; coordinate cross‑functionally to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Oversee daily accounting operations including cash reconciliations, accounts receivable and accounts payable transactions, payments, and recording of revenue, costs, and expenses.
- Assist in establishing, documenting, and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies, and procedures; collaborate with regional and headquarters finance teams to ensure accurate and consistent financials.
- Leverage existing global entity processes as a baseline, while adapting and creating new workflows as needed to meet local requirements.
- Coordinate with external service providers, including tax advisors, auditors, and local authorities, to support statutory filings and compliance requirements.
- Analyze financial results, cash flow, and variances; provide insights and recommendations to management.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

- Solid understanding of accounting principles (US GAAP or IFRS) and financial reporting requirements.
- High level of adaptability, initiative, and willingness to take on hands‑on operational work.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced Excel skills.
- Experience working with ERP systems; with Workday a plus.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within supply chain, logistics, or multinational environments.
- Experience supporting international entities or new business setups strongly preferred
