General SummaryThis position is responsible for purchasing supply levels that support the Reebok US sales plan for wholesale and direct to consumer channels. They are responsible for analysing and executing stock purchases for certain product ranges and channels through on-line and off-line processes. They work closely with both local and global teams including demand planning, supply planning, sales operations, sales, account operations, accounting, DTC, and commercial leaders.  The overall goal of the team is to procure the optimal amount of stock to cover sales needs while minimizing excess stock. 

Key Responsibilities• Completion of monthly PO placement process, adhering to calendar timelines, customer delivery requirements, and department supply strategy. This includes: • Buy plan tool execution and analysis • PO placement • Prioritization of POs • Direct shipment order placement to key retailers • Production minimums review

• Strategic buys

• Air freight review and coding

• Hard Launch delivery tracking and communications

• Monthly buy summary reporting and analysis, review of PO and production minimums, requested vs confirmed ex-factory, launch/critical articles • Prioritize demand flows to optimize inventory ownership and delivery KPIs • Expedited freight analysis and approval • Manage the supply and optimize inventory levels to support replenishment targets and any unique customer requirements • Maintain all latest product updates from marketing teams • Take actions to improve supply to achieve the highest levels of on time deliver • Track progress of purchase orders while at factory.  Respond to any delays or issues found during the production process • Work with accounting to resolve any variances between goods received and invoices received for local production orders • Run ad hoc reports for business partners • System training and testing as required (new ERP)

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities• Highly motivated, organized individual who is a fast learner • Exceptional ability to analyze and interpret data • Creative problem-solving skills • Strong written, verbal and presentation skills required • System knowledge: MS Office. SAP / Blue Cherry ERP experience a plus • Ability to collaborate cross functionally and within a team                       • Must be able to adhere to timelines and meet deadlines
