Senior Backend Developer

We are on the lookout for a Senior Backend Developer who thrives on building reliable, secure, and scalable systems. In this role, you’ll be working at the core of PayFuture’s payments infrastructure, powering pay-ins, payouts, currency conversions, and real-time settlements across continents. We’re looking for engineers with experience in JAVA based microservices and a deep understanding of building backend services in the financial space.

As our Senior Backend Engineer, you will have these main objectives: ● Build, maintain, and scale payment processing services using Java (Spring Boot) ● Design RESTful APIs and asynchronous services used by merchants and internal tools ● Work closely with Product, DevOps, and Frontend teams to deliver features end-to-end ● Implement systems that ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and data integrity ● Write unit, integration, and performance tests ● Participate in system architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical planning ● Monitor, debug, and optimise backend systems in production
