This role reports to Institutional Banking.

Role Purpose

To provide end-to-end analytical, strategic, and operational support to Institutional Banking. The role drives informed decision-making through high-quality financial analysis, supports the execution of syndicated financing and funding transactions, and ensures effective coordination across stakeholders to deliver the Bank’s business and growth objectives.

Our ideal candidate should possess:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or related discipline.
Minimum 5–8 years’ experience in Institutional Banking, Corporate Banking, FI coverage, or a related function.
Proven exposure to syndicated loans, funding transactions, or structured finance.
Strong grounding in financial analysis, credit assessment, and market research.
Familiarity with regulatory environments and audit processes within banking.
Strong analytical thinking with the ability to translate data into strategic insights.
Excellent written and verbal communication, with experience preparing senior-level reports.
Effective stakeholder management across diverse internal and external parties.
Commercial acumen with a good understanding of Financial Institutions business dynamics.
Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities independently.

Key Responsibilities

Business & Deal Support
1. 1. Support origination, structuring, and execution of syndicated financing and funding transactions.
  2. Evaluate opportunities and manage participation in regional and cross-border deals.
  3. Drive end-to-end coordination across internal and external stakeholders for transaction execution.
Financial & Credit Analysis
1. 1. Conduct in-depth credit, financial, industry, and market analysis on financial institutions.
  2. Prepare credit insights and support risk assessment in line with regulatory and internal standards.
Reporting & Business Intelligence
1. 1. Develop and deliver high-quality management reports, pipeline updates, and competitor analysis.
  2. Support quarterly and annual business reviews for senior management.
  3. Provide actionable insights to inform strategy and business decisions.
Stakeholder Management
1. 1. Act as a key liaison with local and international financial institutions, regulators, and auditors.
Strategy & Market Development
1. 1. Conduct market research and intelligence gathering to identify emerging opportunities.
  2. Support strategic initiatives, feasibility studies, and expansion projects.
  3. Represent the Bank in industry forums, committees, and external engagements.
