The Senior Buyer – Battery Electronics is responsible for the efficient execution of procurement strategies for electronic components and systems to ensure cost competitiveness, supply continuity and technological alignment with business needs. The role combines tactical procurement execution with strategic supplier management and cross-functional collaboration. The role requires strong analytical skills, market knowledge of electronics, proficiency in ERP systems, and effective communication.

Key activities and responsibilities of this role include: • Develop and execute sourcing strategy for Electronic boards, Electronic components, Battery Management Systems and electronic application

• Develop and maintain expert knowledge of the electronics industry, market trends, and the specific components being procured • Manage continuous cost reduction and material risks to improve availability and reduce supply chain disruptions for suppliers in our portfolio.

• Liaise with internal teams e.g. R&D, Product for exploring potential suppliers and / or for certain projects based on customers’ requests

• Execute tenders and purchase materials for company’s plants & R&D projects according to engineering specifications, price, quality, lead time, reliability, ESG, production & distribution capabilities

• Collaborate with MRP to carry out all necessary arrangements for the proper delivery of goods and follows up accordingly

• Negotiate contracts with suppliers for pricing, payment, delivery time plans terms with suppliers to achieve terms that are in the company’s best interest

• Monitor inventory requests and production schedule to coordinate purchasing activities with company’s current and anticipated demand of materials

• Monitor and ensure the efficient resolution of issues related to delayed supply and/or improper quality of the incoming materials

• Conduct suppliers’ evaluation according to company’s required standards and contract terms

• Assist in driving continuous improvement in purchasing processes and systems, ensuring adherence to policies and ethical practices.

• Create reports for the management team according to procurement procedures
