-
Own and support on‑prem Windows-based server stacks supporting EDC (App Servers, Middleware, SQL Databases).
-
Work closely with plant teams to deploy changes within production constraints and limited deployment windows.
-
Ensure deployments meet real-time performance and reliability requirements (sub‑second data processing expectations).

Collaborate with vendors and internal platform teams to standardize deployment patterns.
Configuration Management & Automation
-
Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks and automation scripts for:
- Application installation
- Configuration updates
- Infrastructure consistency
-
Support SQL database deployment artifacts, including stored procedures and schema updates.

Contribute to alerting, logging, and reliability improvements across plants.
-
Participate in:
- Incident response
- Root cause analysis

Release Management & Governance
- Support RFC-driven change processes (where applicable) and controlled production rollouts.
- Maintain deployment runbooks, transition documentation, and operational guides.
- Leverage Jira-based deployment tracking (Golden Epic model).
Collaboration & Communication
-
Work closely with:
- Internal development teams (code producers)
- Platform engineering teams
- Manufacturing stakeholders
- External vendors (e.g., Rockwell)
-
Communicate clearly across technical and non‑technical audiences.
-
Participate in knowledge transfer and onboarding of new team members.
Required Skills & Qualifications
-
8+ years of experience in DevOps, Deployment Engineering, or Platform Operations
-
Strong hands-on experience with on‑prem infrastructure environments

-
Familiarity with .NET-based applications (configuration, deployment, troubleshooting)
-
Experience with Git and version control practices
-
Understanding of release management and change control in enterprise environments
-
Strong troubleshooting skills across infrastructure, automation, and deployments
Nice to Have
- Exposure to AWS for non‑production or infrastructure testing (not cloud-first)

- Familiarity with manufacturing, OT, or industrial systems
- Experience integrating on‑prem platforms with enterprise monitoring tools (Datadog, ELK, etc.)
- Prior experience supporting multi-site, geographically distributed deployments
