Senior Executive, Operations

Reporting To

Assistant Manager, Catering Operation

Position Summary

The role Senior Executive, Catering Operations is accountable in providing support, coordination and execution of operational activity within MAG CS and other stakeholders to meet the intended objective, quality, timeline and financial target. Additional responsibilities include assisting the superior and Head of Operations on the catering project execution and updates from time to time.

Ensuring the compliance in totality of overall catering operations which inclusive of meal preparation, catering logistics and lounge operations. Monitoring the day to day operational execution from every aspect of catering operation at the catering base and lounge handling, achieving the target KPI.

Key Accountabilities

  1. Operational Excellence
  • Provide administrative and programmatic support to the superior and other stakeholders, inclusive of MAG internal and MAG CS, as well as externally.
  • Execute and oversee daily operational execution ensuring smooth deliverable and as per standard quality.
  • Monitor adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) across operational areas
  • Conduct periodically audit compliance by catering and regulatory bodies at every touchpoint.
  • Other duties as directed, consistent with the experience and level of the position.
  1. Customer Management
  • Attending customer request/feedback/inquiries, internally and externally and to be addressed within the agreed timeline, based on MAGCS Catering requirements and processes.
  • Manage service-level agreements (SLAs) by all operational parties to ensure delivery as per the agreed performance standard.
  • Address customer request and complaint by MAB
  1. Performance Management
  • Generate relevant performance reports or update to the management team related to corporate services jurisdiction.
  • Support the Catering department in achieving the targeted overall KPI. Monitor and update dashboard activities and CCP (Critical Control Point) records to ensure compliance

Qualifications / Areas of Experience

  • Degree or Diploma in Business Administrative/Customer Experience/Hospitality or its equivalent from recognized institutions or any related field.
  • 3-5 years working experience in customer fronting or other relevant areas, preferably from

within aviation industry.

  • Halal
  • HACCP Certificate

Skills and Knowledge

  • Aviation/Airline Catering or Industrial
  • Ground
  • Microsoft Office, not exhaustive to Excel, Word and Power
  • Fundamental project management
  • Basic accounting

  • Excellent communication skills to ensure smooth coordination among staff and other stakeholders.
  • Customer-centric mindset to ensure operational deliverables align with the customers' quality standard.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skill in making day-to-day operational decision-making process.

  • Excellent team player and work effectively with other team members.
  • Proactive in identifying potential issues for prompt resolution
