Your Role 

We are looking for a Sr Executive, Sports Marketing & Training (Oakley) who will lead Oakley’s sports marketing initiatives through athlete scouting, ambassador management, and strategic sports partnerships. Drive brand visibility by executing sports activations, managing athlete programs, and delivering training and stakeholder engagement activities. 

Main Responsibilities: 

 

Athlete Management

  • Be responsible for the selecting of athletes in the key sport verticals. Monitor and scouting upcoming stars.
  • Align with Brand, PR, and local TM teams on athlete candidates and overall athlete portfolio.
  • Manage athlete contracting processes, including offer preparation and negotiations with agents, associations, and teams.
  • Develop and manage relationships with contracted and non-contracted athletes to ensure relevant brand visibility.
  • Establish relationships with key national sports organizations (e.g., NOC) and identify opportunities to enhance brand exposure.
  • Plan and order products (Eyewear/Apparel/Accessories) for athletes in line with brand direction and commercial needs.
  • Manage athlete product seeding and ensure timely shipment and distribution.
  • Provide regular seeding reports and updates to internal stakeholders.
  • Manage seeding budgets and track spending against allocation.

 

Events & Activations 

  • Propose and manage local sports events and activities aligned with brand objectives and local market needs.
  • Lead the planning and execution of sports events and activations with support from the Trade Marketing team.
  • Activate Oakley athletes as part of marketing events and brand campaigns.
  • Manage approval processes for events and activations through the regional Oakley team.
  • Oversee event and activation budgets.
  • Prepare and deliver event performance reports.
  • Participate in Global Sports events as required.

 

Training & Stakeholder Coordination 

  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to identify training needs and develop training calendars and ensure training plans are approved by WHS and RTL teams.
  • Collate materials and prepare content for training sessions.
  • Participate in Brand Immersions (1–2 times per year) and local product launch activities.
  • Track training effectiveness, monitor outcomes, generate reports, and gather feedback.

  

Main Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Marketing, Business, or related field
  • At least 5 years in athlete management, sports marketing, or marketing
  • Deep understanding of the local sports landscape
  • Knowledge in tracking seeding ROI, event metrics, and athlete performance
  • Existing Network: Relationships with athletes, teams and national sports organizations
