Apply NowSkeleton is looking for a driven and experienced Senior Field Service Engineer / Manager to join our Advanced Engineering team in Lappeenranta. Would you like to play a key role in ensuring the quality of our products and customer satisfaction while also developing our field service operations? We are now looking for a Senior Field Service Engineer / Manager to take ownership of complex fault analysis, repairs, testing, and to drive continuous improvement of our service processes. Responsibilities
- On-site work at customer locations: advanced fault analysis, repairs, and system-level testing
- Analysis and repair of returned products at your own workstation in Lappeenranta
- Taking ownership of the most complex technical issues and root cause analysis
- Supporting customers in optimizing product performance and resolving critical cases
- Developing and maintaining working methods at service workstations
- Driving continuous improvement of service processes, tools, and documentation
- Receiving fault reports and documenting findings (e.g. 8D reports)
- Establishing, maintaining, and analysing the field failure register
- Feeding back field data to R&D and product development teams
- Acting as a technical lead and mentor for other Service Engineers
- Supporting resource planning and coordination of service activities
- Driving best practices across field service operations
- Providing remote support to customers when needed
- Acting as a key technical contact for demanding customer cases
- Participating in other tasks such as urgent testing cases or handling returns
