About the role:

The Senior Financial Analyst, Global Supply Chain, is a hands-on finance partner to assigned business units and functional leaders. This role leads core planning, forecasting, reporting, and performance-management processes; translates financial and operational results into clear business actions; and connects stakeholders around a common financial view. The successful candidate builds trust through responsive, customer-focused support while maintaining independent judgment, financial discipline, and the confidence to challenge assumptions constructively. As a senior individual contributor, this role owns established processes end to end, improves and optimizes how work is performed, and leads implementation and adoption of approved changes.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Serve as the primary finance partner for assigned business units or functions and develop a strong understanding of their strategy, operating model, value drivers, commitments, and risks.
  • Build collaborative relationships and create alignment across business units, Finance, and support functions by connecting assumptions, dependencies, decisions, and follow-through actions.
  • Lead annual operating plan, rolling forecast, long-range planning, and periodic performance-review activities for the supported area, including revenue, margin, operating expense, headcount, capital, and working capital, as applicable.
  • Lead monthly close, reporting, and variance-analysis activities; ensure timely and accurate outputs and explain the operational drivers behind results versus plan, forecast, and prior periods.
  • Develop financial models, scenarios, and business cases that quantify risks, opportunities, tradeoffs, and sensitivities, and translate findings into specific actions and decision points.
  • Prepare and deliver executive-ready dashboards, presentations, and financial narratives for finance and non-finance audiences at multiple levels of the organization.
  • Own established FP&A processes end to end by coordinating calendars, roles, inputs, review points, quality standards, and deliverables, and resolving issues that threaten timing or quality.
  • Continuously improve and optimize processes through simplification, standardization, automation, stronger controls, and better use of data and technology; track measurable improvements in cycle time, accuracy, usability, or effort.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting policies, GAAP, SOX requirements, internal controls, and financial governance, and support reconciliations, audits, and remediation as needed.
  • Share best practices and provide informal coaching to analysts and business partners while modeling curiosity, ownership, accountability, and a continuous-improvement mindset.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience of progressive FP&A experience within manufacturing, medical equipment, or pharmaceutical industries
  • Proven ability to influence without authority,  Knowledge in Microsoft office tools (Excel, Power Point, Power BI)

 

Preferred qualifications:

  • 5+ years of progressive FP&A experience in inventory / cost accounting activities within manufacturing, medical equipment, pharmaceutical, life sciences, or similarly regulated, innovation‑driven industries
  • Experience with process improvement, workflow automation, system implementation, or change adoption.
  • Experience supporting global supply chain or manufacturing environments, including exposure to inventory management, standard costing, and quality-related processes.
  • Experience leading planning-system, power Bi report building, data/ process automation, or finance-transformation initiatives

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) – see www.bscbenefitsconnect.com—will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.

 

 

Compensation for exempt, non-sales roles may also include variable compensation, i.e., annual bonus target and long-term incentives (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
