About ATI:Automated Tire (ATI) is on a mission to reinvent tire changing and wheel balancing using cutting-edge robotics. We are transforming a process that hasn’t fundamentally changed in decades into an automated, high-performance system built for the future of automotive service. Founded by experienced entrepreneurs and backed by leading players across the automotive and tire industries, ATI is building technology that will redefine how cars are serviced. Our team combines deep robotics expertise with real world deployment, moving fast from prototype to production and scaling solutions directly in the field. Position Overview:We're looking for a Senior Robotics Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team and take a senior technical leadership role in building the software that turns raw robot capability into a reliable, operable, and measurable product. You'll bring technical judgment to how we architect and build across the stack, from operator-facing web applications and cloud services to the data infrastructure and behavior systems that drive autonomous decision-making. In addition, you’ll help set the best practices and standards for the engineers around you. This is a hands-on technical leadership role. You’ll write code daily across several languages; make architectural decisions that shape how our robots are operated, monitored, and improved. In addition you will help mentor our growing software engineering team. The tools you build will be used by operators, field teams, and roboticists to deploy fleets, supervise autonomy, and interact with and understand how robots perform in the real world.  You’ll need to think carefully about reliability, real-time data, observability, and clear UX for high-stakes operational environments. Responsibilities:• Help design and contribute to software across the entire robotics stack from architecture through deployment • Develop and maintain behavior trees and the decision-making logic that governs robot autonomy, along with the tooling to author, visualize, and debug them • Work with robotics engineers to build reliable and debuggable data pipelines between independent processes to connect sensors with reasoning, free from race conditions and deadlocks • Help define, instrument, and visualize operational metrics (uptime, autonomy/intervention rate, mission success, throughput, MTBF, failure modes) so the team can measure and improve robot performance and fleet health • Establish engineering best practices across the stack, including testing, CI/CD, monitoring, and fleet observability • Build responsive, intuitive web interfaces for fleet monitoring, mission planning, teleoperation, and operational dashboards • Mentor and guide engineers, fostering their growth and raising the team's technical bar • Collaborate with cross-functional partners across robotics software, hardware, perception, controls, data science, and field operations • Proactively identify technical risks and architectural trade-offs, and communicate them clearly to leadership
