A position has arisen within our Information Systems team for a Senior Java Developer, reporting to the Web Development Manager. This is a permanent, full time role. Key Responsibilities: • Collaborate with business stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teams to design and deliver solutions that meet functional and non-functional requirements. • Lead the design and implementation of new components, services, and features, ensuring timely delivery and clear communication of project status to stakeholders. • Apply expertise in microservices architecture to develop scalable, resilient, and high-performance solutions. • Evaluate emerging technologies and third-party solutions, and manage vendor integrations to enhance system capabilities. • Design and develop secure, maintainable, and robust technical solutions aligned with industry best practices and organizational standards. • Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, guidelines, and standards; actively contribute to improving departmental processes. • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members, fostering knowledge sharing and professional growth. • Collaborate with QA teams and stakeholders to ensure comprehensive testing and quality assurance of delivered solutions. • Contribute to strategic objectives and departmental goals, driving innovation and operational excellence.
