A great opportunity for a Senior Leading Hand or an experienced Leading Hand**,** who’s ready to take the next step**.**  Join our Stockland Halcyon construction team, where we are delivering high quality homes for our growing community, at Stockland Halcyon Promenade located in Burpengary East. 

Supporting the Site Supervisor and leading onsite activities to ensure homes are delivered on time, on budget and to expected high quality standards.

We’re Looking For…

Someone with strong residential construction experience who is confident leading others onsite, supporting workflow planning and ensuring homes progress smoothly through each construction stage. 

What You’ll Do

• Hands-on, site-based role where you will play a critical role in the day-to-day flow of construction activities, contractor coordination, and homeowner engagement
• Assist the Site Supervisor to plan, manage and deliver multiple homes concurrently, ensuring quality, safety and efficiency are achieved
• Oversee and support the daily work activities of Leading Hands and Labourers onsite and support their training/development
• Maintain a clean and orderly construction site to meet Halcyon presentation and safety standards
• Coordinate contractors, suppliers and resources to keep work progressing on schedule
• Complete required safety audits and attend external safety audits each month
• Carry out quality inspections, hold point checks and prepare updates for the construction program
• Using surface device and onsite program daily to make sure signing of independent inspection and pre settlement inspection items.  Completing these works or organising trades to do so and taking photos and adding notes
• Build strong working relationships with contractors, suppliers and homeowners
• Ensure all homes meet build targets and Halcyon’s high-quality standards

About You

You bring strong experience in residential construction and are confident operating in a fast paced, hands-on environment. You value quality, safety and teamwork, and you take pride in delivering homes that delight our homeowners. You enjoy solving problems onsite and keeping work moving efficiently across multiple builds.

Experience & Skills That Count

• Current white card and current drivers’ licence
• Experience as a Senior Leading Hand or experienced Leading Hand ready for the next step or qualified trade professional in residential construction (carpentry preferable
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate subcontractors and manage workflow across a busy site
• Strong knowledge of building processes, safety requirements and building standards
• Ability to interpret plans and apply practical building principles
• Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with basic IT systems and construction update tools
• First Aid Certificate and Certificate IV in WHS are desirable as would QBCC Supervisor Licence but not essential
