We are looking for a Senior Mobile QA Engineer to take full ownership of quality assurance for our mobile product stream, supporting a growing ecosystem that includes banking, cards, and mobile SDK products.
This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you will define, build, and run the QA function end-to-end. You will be the dedicated QA owner for mobile, responsible for establishing processes, ensuring release quality, and driving testing strategy across multiple products.
This is not a task-based role, we’re looking for someone who can bring structure, make decisions, and elevate quality standards.
Location: Hybrid Cyprus / Remote EU
Reporting to: CTO
What You’ll Do:
- Own QA strategy and processes, including risk-based test planning, documentation, quality gates, and test coverage
- Execute end-to-end mobile testing (functional, regression, exploratory, smoke, upgrade) across devices, OS versions, and environments
- Validate APIs and backend integrations using tools like Postman and Swagger/OpenAPI, including request/response and contract validation
- Perform network and data validation using tools like Charles Proxy or Proxyman, including authentication flows and edge cases
- Manage defects and release readiness, including bug reporting, build validation, upgrade/rollback testing, and go/no-go decisions
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams, contributing to CI/CD workflows and continuous QA improvements
What We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years in software testing, including 3+ years in mobile QA (Android required, iOS exposure expected)
- Strong experience in manual testing, with proven ability to define test strategy and own QA processes
- Solid knowledge of API testing (Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI), REST APIs, HTTP protocols, and payload validation
- Hands-on experience with network debugging tools (Charles Proxy, Proxyman) and test management tools (Jira, AIO or similar)
- Familiarity with Git workflows and CI/CD pipelines, plus experience with logs, crash analysis (e.g., Sentry, Xcode logs)
- Comfortable working in Agile environments, with strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
Nice to Have:
- Experience in Fintech or Trading, especially with payments or sensitive data flows
- Exposure to microservices, JWT/OAuth, GraphQL, or similar architectures
- Experience with analytics tools (Firebase, Segment, AppsFlyer), accessibility, or performance testing
- Basic knowledge of automation tools (XCUITest, Espresso, Detox) and mobile security (e.g., SSL pinning)
- Certifications such as ISTQB

Hiring Process
- TA Interview – A 30–40 minute interview to assess your experience in mobile QA, ownership mindset, and overall fit for the role.
- Technical Interview – A 60-minute deep dive into your mobile testing expertise, including test strategy, and real project experience.
- Final Interview – A 45 - 60 minute interview with senior leadership to validate mutual fit and address any final questions.
