Overall Purpose of the Job

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Offshore Operator to support the preparation, deployment, and operation of subsea equipment offshore, ensuring the highest standards of service delivery, operational efficiency, and safety performance.

Key Activities and Accountabilities

• Prepare, operate, and maintain subsea equipment to support safe and successful offshore operations
• Execute operational tasks in accordance with company procedures, operating manuals, and client requirements
• Perform equipment inspections and checks to ensure compliance with Expro standards, policies, and operating procedures
• Support the planning and execution of wellsite activities, ensuring equipment, materials, and spare parts requirements are identified and available
• Liaise daily with Offshore Supervisors and operational teams to ensure work scopes are effectively planned and executed
• Participate actively in toolbox talks, safety meetings, and operational planning discussions
• Complete all required operational, maintenance, and client documentation accurately and on time
• Build and maintain professional relationships with client representatives, ensuring a high standard of customer service at all times
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and operations personnel to ensure safe and efficient task execution
• Support offshore and, when required, onshore activities including equipment preparation, mobilisation, demobilisation, and maintenance
• Assist in coaching and developing less experienced personnel through knowledge sharing and on-the-job support
• Work towards ongoing competency development and support the achievement of requirements for future progression

Job Knowledge and Qualifications

Essential

• Formal technical or engineering qualification.
• Minimum 6 years' experience within a relevant offshore operational or subsea environment.
• Strong technical understanding of subsea intervention, well construction, or related oil and gas operations.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety and operational excellence.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary offshore team.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Flexible approach to offshore and international travel requirements.

Desirable

• Experience working with subsea intervention or completion systems.
• Previous mentoring or coaching experience.
• Knowledge of industry standards and offshore regulatory requirements.
• Understanding of competency-based development programmes.
