We are hiring on behalf of our client who is focused on building institutional-grade DeFi operations infrastructure. They are seeking a Senior Operations Engineer. This organization develops the systems, automations, and security layers required to make on-chain asset management reliable at scale. Operating across Ethereum, Arbitrum, and multiple other chains, the client manages vaults, multisigs, and treasury systems where precision is paramount.

This is not a "build-and-hand-off" role. The successful candidate will own the full lifecycle of critical automation infrastructure—from architecture and implementation to monitoring, failure handling, and continuous hardening. This individual will be responsible for the reliability, security, and observability of systems where the standard is absolute: operational errors result in real financial loss.

Key Responsibilities • Security Automation: Lead the integration of security tools (such as Hypernative) across fortified wallets and Safes. Implement transaction policy scanning and establish comprehensive whitelisting across all operational wallets to meet institutional standards. • Automation Reliability: Build and maintain rigorous test suites for all critical paths, including signer flows, vault onboarding, and transaction validation. Define and implement tested behaviors for every failure state to ensure system resilience. • Monitoring & Alerting: Design and deploy a tiered monitoring system (Critical, Warning, Informational) that surfaces high-signal alerts. Ensure consistent coverage and clear escalation paths across all supported blockchain networks. • Infrastructure Ownership: Own the operational pipelines and security automation stack, proactively identifying and closing architectural gaps before they become incidents. • Technical Standards: Establish confidence metrics to quantify the reliability of each automation and ensure all existing security configurations are audited to an institutional standard.
