We are seeking internal applications from Lao national employees for the following position:

                                     

Senior Planner

Location: PKM site

Roster:  20 days on, 08 days off

 

Reporting to the Planning & Shutdown Supervisor. The key objective of Senior Planner for Shutdown & Planning – Fixed Plant is to use the principles of performance evaluation and maintain a high quality Computer-Managed Maintenance System (CMMS) to support the asset management process for the process plants, associated infrastructure and ancillary equipment at the Phu Kham Operations to facilitate the improvements of safety and reliability of the fixed plant’s key production equipment.

 

 

Your responsibilities will include:

 

  • Safety Performance: Ensure all systems and initiatives are followed and adhered too
  • Plant performance in terms of % Availability, MTBF / MTBS and cost are within budget boundaries
  • Maintain & sustain of “fit for purpose” maintenance systems and process, in alignment with PBM Asset Management Tactics.
  • Cost Management and control to stay within budget.
  • Maintain specific budgets to ensure objectives are achieved within budget constraints.
  • Alignment and deployment of effective maintenance tactics for accurate Gantt Charts for all activities as defined by the PKM asset management tactics.
  • Quality of workmanship – ensuring that employees adopt effective work practices and apply skills which ensure best practices are followed, as applied to CMMS management.
  • Alignment with the planning and reliability processes – displayed by effective use and application of the tactics.
  • Alignment with the work execution teams, providing key outputs to allow teams to be successful.
  • Monthly report: Ensure good quality information is provided for the month end report, to include relevant statistics & informative information.
  • Continuous improvement is delivered through value generation & A3 projects
  • Participate and Deliver MPAP Results and support with Trail China products.
  • LEAN Implementation and sustainability within the plant area.
  • AMS – Implementation and sustainability of the PBM Asset Management System.

 

To be successful in this role, you will require:

 

  • Degree or diploma in Engineering, Maintenance, or a related field
  • At least 2–3 years of experience in maintenance planning or a similar role
  • Proficiency in SAP and MS Office applications
  • Strong planning, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
  • Ability to lead and coordinate teams when required
