Apply NowThe Senior Presales Engineer – Networking & Security is responsible for designing, positioning, and supporting enterprise networking and security solutions for customers across the region. The role acts as a trusted technical advisor throughout the sales lifecycle, supporting opportunity qualification, solution design, technical presentations, and customer engagement activities. Working closely with sales, security, and delivery teams, the engineer develops scalable, secure, and high-performance infrastructure solutions aligned with customer business and technical requirements. The role also contributes to strategic solution positioning, technical leadership, and the continuous enhancement of ZainTECH’s networking and security capabilities. Responsibilities: Solutions Architecture & Presales Support • Design enterprise networking and security solutions aligned with customer requirements and business objectives • Develop: • High-Level Designs (HLD) • Low-Level Designs (LLD) • Technical proposals • Bill of Quantities (BOQs) • RFP/RFI responses
• Design architectures covering: • LAN/WAN infrastructure • Enterprise wireless solutions • SD-WAN • Network security integrations
• Support strategic opportunities and complex solution positioning activities
Technical Advisory & Solution Positioning • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in networking and security technologies • Conduct customer workshops, technical presentations, demonstrations, and architecture discussions • Lead Proof of Concepts (PoCs), technical validations, and solution assessments • Perform competitive positioning and vendor comparison activities • Stay updated on emerging technologies, vendor roadmaps, and industry trends
Customer Engagement & Relationship Management • Engage with enterprise and government customers to understand business and technical requirements • Translate customer challenges into scalable and secure technical solutions • Support account teams in developing long-term customer relationships • Contribute to account planning and solution strategy initiatives
Cross-Functional Collaboration • Collaborate closely with Sales, Security, and Delivery teams to ensure successful solution alignment and execution • Support onboarding and technical handover activities to delivery and implementation teams • Participate in customer success and post-sales support initiatives where required
Governance, Security & Best Practices • Ensure proposed solutions align with customer standards, security requirements, and industry best practices • Recommend improvements to network availability, scalability, and security posture • Support the implementation of secure networking and segmentation practices • Maintain accurate technical documentation and solution records
Technical Leadership & Knowledge Sharing • Mentor junior and mid-level engineers across networking and security technologies • Lead internal technical knowledge-sharing and enablement sessions • Support technical capability development and certification initiatives within the team
Project & Procurement Support • Support project planning, technical reviews, and implementation readiness activities • Assist procurement and commercial teams with product selection and technical validation • Ensure proposed solutions are scalable, compatible, and aligned with customer environments
