Senior Software Engineer (F/M/D)

The OpportunityAs a Senior Software Engineer at Animore, you will build and operate the web services and tooling that let our AI/ML teams train and benchmark models at scale. You will also work across our data farm - the software that runs on the robots themselves, the services that collect data from them, and the tooling we use to manage and monitor our fleet of 100+ data collection stations. You will take ownership of one or more services end to end - from design through deployment and day-to-day operation in the cloud - working closely with team leads, data farm managers, and AI/ML engineers to turn real operational needs into reliable, well-built software.

Your Responsibilities• Design, build, and operate web services and tooling supporting the training, benchmarking and management of models • Design, build and operate the data-collection software that runs on the robots in our data-farm • Design, build and operate tooling to manage and monitor our fleet of 100+ data collection stations • Own services end-to-end - from architecture and implementation through deployment and cloud operations • Work closely with team leads, data farm managers, and AI/ML engineers to translate their workflows and processes into working services • Build reliable, well-tested backend systems in Python, backed by SQL databases • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployment workflows (Docker/Kubernetes) • Improve service reliability, observability, and developer experience as usage and scale grow
