Senior Specialist Distribution Center Operations (Gebze)

Purpose:

Responsible for supporting and executing the overall activities of DC operations by closely managing 3PL performance, ensuring service excellence, and contributing to cost control and operational efficiency.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Customer Satisfaction;Ensure high service levels through effective daily operations and on-time delivery.
  • Cost Efficiency;Support cost control and efficiency improvements through data analysis and optimization.
  • Operational Excellence;Improve warehouse processes, productivity, and inventory accuracy.
  • Regulatory Compliance;Ensure compliance with company standards, audits, and local regulations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary operational support to the Warehouse Manager, ensuring smooth day-to-day execution of DC activities.
  • Own and monitor warehouse KPIs (productivity, SLA, OTIF, inventory accuracy) and drive action plans with 3PL.
  • Lead daily/weekly operational reviews with 3PL and ensure alignment on priorities, volumes, and performance targets.
  • Analyze operational performance and identify improvement areas to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Support budget tracking, cost analysis, and validation of 3PL invoices with a strong analytical approach.
  • Support the maintenance of inventory accuracy by coordinating cycle counts, reconciliation processes (SAP vs WMS), and stock adjustments.”
  • Proactively identify risks in stock discrepancies and implement preventive actions.
  • Ensure clear visibility of stock levels and support commercial teams with accurate inventory insights.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across warehouse operations (process optimization, layout improvements, productivity enhancements).
  • Actively support strategic projects such as DC transitions, new warehouse setups, and 3PL changes.
  • Ensure warehouse capacity planning is aligned with business needs and challenge 3PL when necessary.
  • Monitor compliance of all warehouse locations (including temporary storage) with company and legal standards.
  • Act as a key point of escalation for operational issues and ensure fast resolution.
  • Goodwill acceptance, defective return, rejection complaints, consumable material tracking and ordering, 3PL invoice tracking

Requisite Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field (focus on Logistic)
  • 3–5 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or supply chain operations
  • Strong experience in managing or working closely with 3PL providers
  • Hands-on experience with SAP and WMS systems
  • Experience in performance management and KPI tracking
  • Project experience (DC setup, transition, or optimization projects is a strong  plus)
  • Fluent in English and Turkish
  • Experience in retail, e-commerce, or FMCG sectors preferred
