Senior Specialist, Data Engineering

Working arrangement: Work at the office 100% at Empire Tower (BTS Chong NonSri)

Responsibilities • Database Management & Maintenance • Install, configure, upgrade, and patch database software. • Manage database objects (tables, views, indexes, stored procedures). • Ensure high availability and disaster recovery (HA/DR) strategies.

• Performance Monitoring & Optimization • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot slow queries or bottlenecks. • Optimize database storage and tuning queries for performance.

• Backup & Recovery • Plan and implement backup and restore procedures. • Ensure data recovery solutions are in place and tested regularly.

• Security & Compliance • Implement and maintain database security, including access control and encryption. • Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).

• Support & Troubleshooting • Provide support to developers and application teams regarding database architecture. • Troubleshoot issues related to database connectivity, performance, and access.

• Documentation & Reporting • Maintain database-related documentation including architecture diagrams and procedures. • Generate regular reports on system health, performance, and usage.
