Position overview:

 

The essential purpose of the function is accounting/finance support to our business in EMEA region. The role is dealing with invoicing, resolving vendor issues, and actively taking participation in creation of relevant reports, respecting the local GAAP requirements and existing company procedures. Main responsibilities include checking and posting intercompany and third party invoices for purchasing the goods and services, weekly preparations of payment proposals and vendor reconciliation.

 

Key responsibilities include:

 

  • Scanning, verifying and posting incoming invoices into the system
  • Participating in month end closing activities
  • Preparing and entering accounts payable accruals into SAP
  • Resolving vendor issues together with the purchasing department
  • Preparation of cash outflow forecasts
  • Checking shipments, delivery notes and prices for freight invoices
  • Participation in audit preparation and support in area of responsibility
  • Researching short payments, overpayments, credits and aging payables
  • Assists in maintaining Master data information
  • Initiating, reviewing and following all standard operating procedures (SOPs)

 

What are we looking for?

 

  • University level degree within Finance
  • At least 2 years of working experience in finance or accounting area
  • Strong PC skills: MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, preferable experience in SAP
  • Analytical skills with high attention to details
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
