About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and safety‑focused Shift Supervisor to join our operations at the North Shore Mineral Separation Plant in Bunbury, WA. Working on a 2 days, 2 nights, 4 off continuous roster, this role is responsible for overseeing shift operations and ensuring the safe, efficient and compliant operation of the fixed plant in line with production targets.

 

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will lead and support a team of operators by coordinating daily activities, monitoring plant performance and responding effectively to operational priorities. You will play a key role in fostering a strong safety culture, maintaining high housekeeping standards and ensuring statutory and regulatory compliance.

 

The role also involves driving continuous improvement, supporting planned maintenance activities, developing team capability through coaching and performance discussions, and ensuring work instructions and risk controls remain current. This position suits a proactive leader who enjoys being hands‑on and making a positive contribution to both team performance and business outcomes.

  • Experience working in an industrial, processing or fixed‑plant environment
  • A proactive, continuous improvement mindset with the confidence to challenge the status quo

  • The flexibility and resilience to work a rotating 24/7 shift roster
  • A current C Class driver’s licence and nationally accredited forklift ticket
