Jardeg is recruiting a Labourer to join the Heartland Constructors team at the Imperial Oil Kearl site in Fort MacKay, Alberta. Charter flights are provided from Calgary/Edmonton to site! While working on site, workers will be staying at the Wapasu camp which will provide hot meals, lodging, workout facility, Wi-Fi and much more!

Skilled Labourers assist skilled trades people and perform a wide range of tasks at construction sites. They will be expected to do but are not limited to the following tasks:

This is a temporary position on a 6/1 schedule from Sept 1 to Sept 30.

Responsibilities:

Cleaning of company vehicles and/or equipment.
Loading, unloading, identifying, and distributing materials and equipment
Cleaning and preparation of construction components (Modules, Process equipment etc.)
Execute assigned tasks in a safe and efficient manner
Ask required questions and take the required direction to endure safety that work is accomplished safely
Understand and follow company safety management system and core values
Maintain all company tools and equipment to the required standards
Foster a cooperative and positive work atmosphere
Experience around heavy equipment is an asset.

Minimum Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of related experience
Common Safety Orientation (CSO)
ESC Wood Buffalo Wildlife Orientation
Satisfactory Drug & Alcohol Test
Mask Fit Test
Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
Other safety ticket(s) and orientation(s) required, as per the project team
Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
