Social Media Specialist China

We are excited to announce that we are now actively recruiting for a Social Media Specialist China, based in Dandenong South.

About the Role

As our Social Media Specialist, you will be the voice of our brand across Rednote (Xiaohongshu), Douyin, WeChat, and Weibo. You’ll be building a community, driving brand equity, and turning market insights into actionable campaigns. You will work closely with the Brand Manager and global teams to ensure our story resonates deeply with local consumers.

Key Responsibilities 

• Owned Media Accounts Management: Develop and execute content strategies and calendars for Rednote (XHS), Douyin, WeChat, and Weibo to ensure consistent brand storytelling.
• Campaign Execution: Support the Brand Manager in launching integrated campaigns, coordinating assets, and managing high-impact UGC initiatives.
• Community Engagement: Moderate brand channels, foster consumer interactions, and maintain a healthy, positive brand community.
• Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor activity and social trends to provide actionable insights for brand positioning and GWP development.
• Cross-Team Support: Coordinate with Design, E-commerce, and Communications teams to streamline project timelines, contracts, and sample handling

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: 1–3 years in marketing, brand, or social media roles. Experience in beauty, skincare, or FMCG is highly preferred.
• Platform Expertise: Deep understanding of the China social ecosystem (Rednote, Douyin,Wechat etc.) and shifting consumer behaviors.Familiarity with common social KPIs (reach, CPM, CTR，CPUV) and performance reporting.
• Creative Flair: A strong eye for aesthetics and a knack for brand storytelling.
• Execution Excellence: Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and cross-functional stakeholders.Able to brief and coordinate content/asset development with internal teams.
• Mindset: A structured thinker with a strong learning mindset and a collaborative, responsible working style.High attention to detail and compliance awareness.
