What You’ll Be Doing• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable backend code in C# or Golang under the guidance of senior engineers. • Assist with feature development, debugging, code reviews, testing, and production issue investigation. • Participate in software project planning, feature enhancement, and bug fixing across Wati’s messaging and revenue orchestration platform. • Build and maintain reliable APIs, services, integrations, and internal tools with a focus on scalability, performance, and maintainability. • Collaborate with product, frontend, QA, and engineering teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions. • Learn and apply engineering best practices, including automated testing, observability, documentation, and secure software development. • Where relevant, contribute to AI-powered product capabilities such as agent workflows, LLM integrations, knowledge retrieval, tool calling, or evaluation pipelines. • Use AI-assisted development tools responsibly to improve productivity, while maintaining strong engineering judgment and code quality.
