Sourcing Planning and Strategy

 Prepare a sourcing plan based on requirement for Branding

 Work closely with the stakeholders to seek inputs for prioritizing the deliveries and arrange material on time.

 Build in-depth understanding of all the required material to be able to analyse and identify alternate / substitute materials to ensure there is no disruption and timely delivery on right cost.

 Gather detailed market intelligence to provide the best options in terms of cost and quality for each required material.

 Monitor all activities in procurement process for Grinding units (e.g., PO generation) and ensure defined SLAs are being met. prepare MIS reports for PR/PO Branding in weekly basis. 

 Establish processes aligned to the SAP systems to ensure accurate integration to drive efficiencies and enable system based tracking of all procured material.

Execution and Vendor Management 

 Formation of contract for branding supply and services. Identify multiple vendors for each material to ensure there is no disruption in time line.

 Place the order for the materials based on the agreed sourcing plan and schedule

 Plan and oversee the inward logistics of receiving all the ordered material for the plants. 

 Daily rigorous monitoring and partnering with the source vendor, plant and transporter to ensure adequate stock of material is always available in accordance with the storage policy and shelf life of each material

 Monitor the market on an ongoing basis and ensure any variations in cost / supply are known and factored into the planning  Ensure the process from receipt of PR to PO and obtaining the required material is handled smoothly and efficiently, minimising delays and adhering to requisite procedures

 Identify new / alternate vendors. Conduct assessments to ensure reliability before empanelling them
