We are looking for a Sous Chef / Chef De Cuisine

 

 

As a Sous Chef / Chef De Cuisine, we rely on you to;

 

  • Maintain a high standard of all food preparation, service and hygiene in their respective kitchen
  • Responsible for the food production, general supervision, proper efficiency, and profitable functioning of the assigned outlets or section
  • Constantly be physically involved in all phases of the daily operation requirements
  • Achieve the highest standard through strict adherence to the hygiene and sanitation rules
  • Controls and ensures that expenses / purchases requisitions are within the budget limits
  • To maximize productivity and maintain a harmony among all food production employees in a fair and impartial way

 

We are looking for someone who;

 

  • A motivator with effective human relations skills
  • Excellent verbal and written english language
  • Diploma in Culinary Arts and/or Hotel Management
  • HACCP higher level certified
  • Minimum of two years experience as a Sous Chef / Chef De Cuisine or similar capacity in an International class hotel
  • Commitment to a professional values
  • Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines with a high degree of consistency
  • High attention to details
  • Computer knowledge
  • Experience working in a remote location is considered an advantage
