We are looking for a Sous Chef / Chef De Cuisine
As a Sous Chef / Chef De Cuisine, we rely on you to;
- Maintain a high standard of all food preparation, service and hygiene in their respective kitchen
- Responsible for the food production, general supervision, proper efficiency, and profitable functioning of the assigned outlets or section
- Constantly be physically involved in all phases of the daily operation requirements
- Achieve the highest standard through strict adherence to the hygiene and sanitation rules
- Controls and ensures that expenses / purchases requisitions are within the budget limits
- To maximize productivity and maintain a harmony among all food production employees in a fair and impartial way
We are looking for someone who;
- A motivator with effective human relations skills
- Excellent verbal and written english language
- Diploma in Culinary Arts and/or Hotel Management
- HACCP higher level certified
- Minimum of two years experience as a Sous Chef / Chef De Cuisine or similar capacity in an International class hotel
- Commitment to a professional values
- Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines with a high degree of consistency
- High attention to details
- Computer knowledge
- Experience working in a remote location is considered an advantage
