What is Specialist HLR & VAS Operations? Are you an experienced HLR & VAS Operations professional with a passion for leveraging the latest digital technologies and Artificial Intelligence to optimize network performance and enhance customer experience? We are seeking a talented and proactive Specialist HLR & VAS Operations to join our dynamic team. In this intermediate-level role, you will be instrumental in bridging traditional network operations with cutting-edge digital and AI-driven solutions, contributing directly to our network's efficiency, reliability, and future-readiness. Main tasks include day-to-day Operation & Maintenance of HLR & VAS Network, Customer complaints handling (corporate & commercial), configuration management, troubleshooting, interaction with Internal and external stakeholders and vendor support teams for ongoing issues, project and upgrades. The role reports directly to the Manager HLR/VAS Planning & Operations and has 12 people reporting directly into it. What does Specialist HLR & VAS Operations do? · HLR & VAS System Management: Perform day-to-day operations, maintenance, configuration, and troubleshooting of HLR, HSS, SMSC, Smart Care /CEM, and other Value-Added Services platforms. · Performance Optimization & Monitoring: Proactively monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to ensure optimal service delivery and availability for HLR & VAS platforms. · Digitalization Initiatives: Identify opportunities to automate routine operational tasks within HLR & VAS through scripting (e.g., Python, Perl) and automation tools, driving efficiency and reducing manual effort. · Data Analysis & Reporting: Extract and analyze operational data (using SQL/Oracle or similar tools) to generate insights for performance improvements, capacity planning, and identifying areas for digitalization. Prepare comprehensive reports on network health, performance, and the impact of digital initiatives. · Incident Management & Resolution: Take ownership of incidents, troubleshoot complex issues related to HLR & VAS, and coordinate effectively with internal teams and external vendors for timely resolution and Root Cause Analysis (RCA). · Process Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of operational processes by proposing and implementing digital tools and methodologies. · Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for network configurations, operational procedures, and digital solution implementations. · Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including Network Planning, IT, Product Development, and Customer Support to ensure seamless service delivery. · Staying Current: Keep abreast of the latest advancements in HLR/VAS technologies, digitalization trends, AI/ML applications in telecom, and relevant industry best practices.
