  • Providing expert advice on pricing and network planning in a complex, evolving regulatory environment
  • Monitoring tariff developments across the National Electricity Market to inform strategy

  • Supporting the Regulated Pricing Team in developing solutions aligned with tariff strategy and regulatory requirements

About you

You’re comfortable working at the intersection of data, economics, and strategy, and can clearly communicate technical outcomes to a wide range of stakeholders.

You will possess -

  • Significant experience in quantitative modelling and advanced data analysis
  • Proven ability to analyse large datasets, develop models, and apply analytics techniques to solve complex business problems
  • Strong capability to synthesise complex information, generate insights, and communicate clear recommendations
  • Solid numerical and statistical skills, including an understanding of machine learning concepts and when to apply them
  • Experience using tools such as Python, R, SQL, Power BI (or comparable) for data analysis and visualisation
  • Ability to identify and validate new data sources, and improve existing data for analysis and reporting
  • Strong time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams and engage external stakeholders

You’ll also hold a relevant tertiary qualification in a numerical or analytical discipline such as economics, commerce, engineering, or science or bring 5+ years of equivalent practical experience.
